Brazil v Costa Rica: No

Brazil’s 1-1 draw with Switzerland on Sunday was the first time that Tite’s side have conceded a goal in six matches.

They now face Costa Rica, who lost 1-0 to Serbia in their opener and have scored just one goal in their last three.

Only one of Los Ticos’ last eight games have seen goals at both ends, and that should become one in nine on Friday.

Nigeria v Iceland: No

Don’t expect a thriller in this Group D game between two sides that combined for just four shots on target in the first round of matches.

Iceland have conceded in each of their last four games, but holding Argentina to just one goal is encouraging, and suggests they’ll manage a clean sheet against a vastly inferior Nigeria side.

The Super Eagles have failed to score in their last two matches, both of which were defeats to European sides.

Serbia v Switzerland: Yes

Serbia beat Costa Rica 1-0 on Sunday, and have now scored in 12 of their last 13 matches.

In Switzerland, they face a similarly prolific side who have found the net in 17 of their last 19.

Anything less than a win would leave both of these sides in a bit of trouble, so it’s safe to expect them to both go for it.
