Denmark v Australia: No

Denmark were slightly fortunate to keep a clean sheet against Peru last week, but their defensive record is excellent, with no goals conceded in their last five matches.

Having kept out Chile and Mexico during that run, Age Hareide’s side shouldn’t have any trouble keeping another clean sheet against Australia.

The Socceroos scored from the penalty spot in their opening game against France but posed little threat otherwise.

France v Peru: Yes

France’s 2-1 win over Australia was the 10th successive game in which they’ve found the net, scoring at least twice in eight of those matches.

Les Bleus have also kept just one clean sheet in their last seven games, and now face an exciting Peru side that were unlucky not to score in their opener against Denmark.

Peru have scored at least two goals in five of their last seven, and should have plenty of chances against a shaky French back four.

Argentina v Croatia: Yes

Argentina’s array of attacking talent means they’re always worth backing to score, doing so in all of their last seven matches.

The 2014 finalists are poor at the back, though, failing to keep a clean sheet against Iceland in their opening game and conceding six to Spain and four to Nigeria in the run up to this tournament.

Expect a high-scoring game when they play Croatia, who beat Nigeria 2-0 on Saturday but have failed to keep out Peru, Brazil and Senegal in the last three months.
