Croatia to win to nil –

Denmark have been distinctly unimpressive in this World Cup, only qualifying for the knockout stages after riding their luck against Peru in their opening group match.

Given that Croatia have won to nil in both games in which they have fielded their first XI, they should win this one easily.

Luka Modric to score anytime –

Modric scored a penalty in Croatia’s opener against Nigeria, before curling in from long range in his side’s dismantling of Argentina.

It is worth backing the 32-year-old to score on the basis of spot-kicks again, but his advanced midfield role means that netting from open play is a possibility, too.

Over 4.5 cards

Croatia have received at least two cards in each of their three matches so far, including three in the middle game against Argentina.

Denmark, meanwhile, have picked up five cards despite effectively shaking hands with France during their final group match.

Sime Vrsaljko to be carded –

Vrsaljko has picked up four yellow cards – two of which resulted in a red – in his last nine matches for club and country.

Denmark left-winger Pione Sisto is a tricky customer, and is unlikely to make life any easier for the Atletico Madrid full-back.
