Uruguay to win 1-0 or 2-0 -

Uruguay did the bare minimum in 1-0 wins over Egypt and Saudi Arabia in their first two games, but were far more convincing in a 3-0 victory over hosts Russia last Monday.

Portugal scored just once in each of their last two matches against Morocco and Iran – suffering a late scare that nearly saw them go out to the latter – so another win to nil for the South American side looks likely in what should be a tight game between two defensive teams.

Luis Suarez to score -

Suarez struggled in the first group game but has looked sharp since, scoring the first goal in each of Uruguay’s last two matches.

Portugal conceded twice to Diego Costa in their 3-3 draw with Spain, and could struggle to deal with another elite centre-forward on Saturday.

Under 9.5 total corners -

Uruguay have kept it really tight at the back at this World Cup, conceding just six corners across their three group matches.

Neither of these teams will opt for a gung-ho approach, so a low corner count looks highly likely.

Over 2.5 Portugal cards

Portugal lost their heads against Iran last time out, picking up four yellow cards in what was a pretty fiery affair.

The European champions also narrowly avoided being reduced to 10 men after Cristiano Ronaldo was only booked for an off-the-ball elbow, and they’ll likely pick up more cards if things don’t go their way on Saturday.
