Neymar to score –

After starting the tournament slowly, Neymar has played himself into some form.

The PSG forward has scored two goals in Brazil’s last three matches, including the opener in their last-16 victory over Mexico.

Against a Belgium side that has conceded four goals against Tunisia and Japan, he should find a way through.

Romelu Lukaku to score –

Lukaku is second in the Golden Boot standings with four goals, but was guilty of spurning some great opportunities in Belgium’s last-16 win over Japan.

The 25-year-old should be presented with more against a Brazil defence that, despite keeping three consecutive clean sheets, has occasionally looked vulnerable.

He won’t be as profligate this time.

More goals in the second half –

But we could have to wait before any fireworks.

Ten of Belgium’s 13 goals at the tournament have come in the second half, while five of Brazil’s seven goals have also been after the break.

Over 1.5 Brazil cards –

Brazil have been issued with two cards in two of their three most recent matches at the tournament.

With Milorad Mazic in the middle – a referee who has given six cards and a penalty in his two World Cup games so far – this looks a safe bet.
