Argentina to win 1-0 or 2-0

Argentina are huge favourites for this match but, having scored just 19 goals in 18 qualifying matches, they’re unlikely to run away with it.

Particularly considering that Iceland only conceded seven times in 10 games to book their own place at the tournament.

All but one of Argentina’s last 10 victories have been to nil, and another low-key win looks likely here.

Over 3.5 cards -

These are two sides that tend to be involved in fiery contests.

Argentina’s last 10 competitive matches have seen a total of 55 cards, with Iceland not far behind with 44.

That combined average of just under five per game suggests over 3.5 should be a doddle.

Lucas Biglia to be carded -

Biglia has been booked in five of his last eight competitive games for his country, and is sure to be in the thick of the action in central midfield.
