Half-time – Full time: Draw – Colombia –

Japan have lost four and drawn one of their last six matches, while they have won just two World Cup games in 11.

Colombia are the better side, but given that nine of their last 11 goals have come after half-time, we will probably have to wait for them to get going.

Under 2.5 goals –

Don’t expect a goalfest when they do.

The South American side scored just 21 goals in 18 matches qualifying and have drawn 0-0 in consecutive games against Australia and Egypt.

Radamel Falcao to score –

Falcao bagged 26 goals in 39 appearances for club and country last season as he finished fifth in the Ligue 1 Golden Boot table.

He should get the better of a defence that has kept just one clean sheet in 13.

Abel Aguilar to be carded –

Aguilar is a regular in the referee’s notebook and has been issued with 17 cards, including three reds, in the last season.

If anyone is to be booked, the midfielder is a top candidate.
