Spain to win to nil –

Spain are unbeaten in 21 matches and shouldn’t have much trouble beating an Iran side that were very lucky to win their Group B opener against Morocco.

Their winner in that game came via a 96th-minute own goal having failed to register a shot on target, so Carlos Queiroz’s side are unlikely to get on the scoresheet,.

Diego Costa to score –

Costa was fantastic in Spain’s 3-3 draw with Portugal, scoring twice and bullying the European champions’ centre-backs throughout.

He’s a formidable force in this form, and should have plenty more chances to find the net against a physically and technically inferior Iran side.

Isco to score –

Isco came inches from scoring a screamer against Portugal after cracking the bar from the edge of the box with the score at 1-1.

The Real Madrid playmaker came into the World Cup on a run of seven goals in eight international matches, and is a solid choice to break his duck for the World Cup in Kazan.

Over 2.5 Iran cards –

Iran picked up three yellow cards against Morocco as they used fouls to consistently break up the African side’s attacks.

Expect more bookings on Wednesday as they chase Spain around for 90 minutes.
