Senegal to win –

Japan were unconvincing in beating 10-man Colombia in their opening game, and had lost four of their last six games heading into the World Cup.

Senegal looked much the better side against Poland and are the team to back in this potential Group H decider.

Both teams to score –

Japan scored six goals in their last two games and have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last eight.

Senegal have found the net in eight of their last 10 games, including their 2-1 win over Poland last time out.

M’Baye Niang to score –

Niang was Senegal’s most dangerous player in their win over Polandgetting on the scoresheet to make it 2-0 in the second half.

The 23-year-old will again lead the line against Japan and is worth a bet at better than 2/1.

Under 0.5 cards

Japan’s only yellow card against Colombia was shown to goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima for time-wasting in the final few minutes.

Sunday’s game should be similarly good-tempered, given that Senegal have avoided a booking in three of their last six matches.
