Over 2.5 goals –

With Germany playing a South Korea side that are yet to pick up a point on Wednesday, Sweden almost certainly have to win to have a chance of qualification.

That should also open up opportunities to score for Mexico, who have ruled out fielding a weakened side as they hope to secure top spot.

Carlos Vela to score –

Vela will almost certainly start in attack alongside Hirving Lozano and Javier Hernandez on Wednesday.

The LAFC forward has notched seven goals in 12 MLS games this season, and is the biggest price of the trio to find the net despite being on penalty duty and scoring from the spot against South Korea.

Andreas Granqvist to be carded –

Mexico are perhaps the best counter-attacking team at the World Cup, and their pacy front line could leave the 33-year-old Granqvist vulnerable.

Both Germany and South Korea have had centre-backs booked against the South American side, so the former Wigan defender looks the likeliest candidate to pick up a card on this occasion.
