Morocco to win –

Morocco come into the World Cup on the back of a convincing 3-1 victory over Estonia, which made it seven victories from their last eight and extended their unbeaten run to 18 matches.

Iran laboured to a 1-0 win over Lithuania last Friday and have been beaten by both Turkey and Tunisia in their last five.

Hakim Ziyech to score –

Ziyech, who bagged nine goals and laid on a further 15 for Ajax in the Eredivisie last season, will be the attacking hub for his side.

He scored another in Morocco’s final warm-up friendly against Estonia and is coming into the tournament hot.

Sardar Azmoun to score –

Iran have only failed to score in one of their last 11 matches, while Morocco have kept just two clean sheets in five.

Azmoun scored the winner against Lithuania and has netted six goals in his last 11 matches for club and country.

Mehdi Benatia to be carded

Benatia was booked 13 times for Juventus last season, including in both legs of their Champions League quarter final against Tottenham and again in the semi-final second leg against Real Madrid.

It would be no surprise to see him overstep the mark again in another high-pressure game.
