Iceland to win or draw –

Iceland have only lost one of their six games at major tournaments, earning results against Portugal, England and Argentina in the meantime.

Nigeria were uninspiring against Croatia, and have now won just one of their last 11 World Cup matches.

Both teams to score –

Despite having a reputation as a side that neither score nor concede many goals, both teams have found the net in all six of Iceland’s tournament games to date.

Nigeria need a result to keep their hopes alive, and will almost certainly commit numbers forward.

Birkir Bjarnason to be carded –

Whether playing on the wing or in central midfield, Bjarnason takes his defensive duties very seriously.

The Aston Villa man has been carded in three of Iceland’s last five games, despite four of those being friendlies.

Over 1.5 Nigeria cards –

Nigeria have received at least two cards in seven of their last 10 competitive games, and one in two of the other three.

With so much to play for, another couple of bookings would be no surprise.
