Brazil to win –

Brazil played well in the second half against Costa Rica, eventually scoring twice in injury time to win three crucial points.

If they maintain that form, beating Serbia to claim their 19th win in 24 matches should be a formality.

Both teams to score –

The Serbians are capable of getting themselves on the scoresheet.

Mladen Krstajic’s side have netted in 13 of their last 14 matches, including in both of their World Cup games so far.

Gabriel Jesus to score –

Jesus missed good chances in the win over Costa Rica, so it is a matter of time until he opens his World Cup account.

The Manchester City striker had scored five goals in seven internationals before the tournament began, and should soon thrive again with Philippe Coutinho and Neymar alongside him.

Casemiro to be carded –

Casemiro was booked in Brazil’s opening game of the World Cup against Switzerland, his fourth yellow card in 12 internationals.

The Real Madrid midfielder will be tested against Serbia, who will line up with the impressive Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as an attacking midfielder.

Nemanja Matic to be carded –

Matic was carded in Serbia’s opener against Costa Rica and will do well to negotiate Philippe Coutinho, Paulinho and Neymar for 90 minutes without retribution.

At least one opposition defender or defensive midfielder has been booked in Brazil’s last four matches.
