Half-time/Full-time: Germany/Germany –

Toni Kroos’ late winner against Sweden should prove a turning point for Germany, who will surely dominate this game.

South Korea have lost six of their last eight matches, trailing at half-time in three against Poland, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Mexico.

Marco Reus to score –

Reus’ equaliser against Sweden on Saturday was his fifth goal in eight matches for club and country.

The Borussia Dortmund attacker has arguably been Germany’s best player in this tournament and is a nice odds-against price to extend that form on Wednesday.

Timo Werner to score –

Werner grew into the game against Sweden after Mario Gomez was introduced off the bench, and the two may start together against South Korea.

That would give the 22-year-old every chance of breaking his World Cup duck by netting his fourth goal in seven games for club and country.

Over 3.5 cards –

Only three teams have picked up more cards than South Korea in the tournament after they received four yellows in Saturday’s defeat to Mexico.

Germany have also had two cards in both of their matches so far, with Jerome Boateng sent off on Saturday for two bookable offences.
