Luis Suarez to score –

Suarez hasn’t been at his best at this tournament, but still managed to notch the winner against Egypt last time out and has regularly found his way into scoring positions.

The Barcelona striker has bagged five goals in his last six international games, and is a better bet to find the net than the out-of-form Edinson Cavani.

Denis Cheryshev to score –

Given Uruguay’s strength at centre-back, Russia’s goals are likely to come from the wide areas.

Winger Cheryshev has been Russia’s most dangerous player since coming on in the first half of their opening game, scoring three goals in 140 minutes of action.

Under 1.5 cards

Uruguay are yet to pick up a booking at this World Cup.

Russia have also been well-behaved, with just two cards so far, both to attacking players in Aleksandr Golovin and Fedor Smolov.

Over 9.5 corners

Uruguay have taken eight corners across their two matches, while Russia took six against Saudi Arabia and seven against Egypt.

In what should be an open game between two teams looking to win the group, expect a high tally.
