Schalke have won back-to-back matches in the Bundesliga and should easily put away a side from two divisions below.

Valencia thrashed Sevilla 4-0 at the weekend to notch their fifth win on the spin, so they are also worth backing.

In Serie A, Inter ended Napoli’s 100 per cent record on Saturday and have dropped just four points in nine unbeaten matches.

Against a Sampdoria side with just one away win in four, they’re a simple pick.

Bristol City have already knocked Watford and Stoke out of the EFL Cup and are a decent price to do the same to Crystal Palace, who have lost all five away games this season without scoring a goal.

Fabio Fognini should beat Diego Schwartzman at the Vienna Open.

Fognini reached the semi-finals in Stockholm last week, and has an extra rest day on Diego Schwartzman, who was beaten by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the European Open final.

After a week off, Sam Querrey will have too much for Albert Ramos-Vinolas at the same event.

And in the WTA finals, Venus Williams was well beaten by Karolina Pliskova in her first match, and is a good bet to lose again to Jelena Ostapenko .

Back the treble at 9/2*.
