Back to win: Justin Rose –

Rose’s T37 in Mexico last week ended a run of 12 successive top-25s, but the Englishman should respond in Florida this weekend.

The world No. 5 has 11 top-10 finishes since August, and has won three times in his last nine starts.

Rose has a great record in Florida, with top-fives at the Honda Classic, Players Championship, Arnold Palmer Invitational and this event since 2010.

This is the 37-year-old’s first go at this course since its 2015 redesign, but his form over the past few months – along with a fine final-round 67 last weekend – indicates he’s got a massive chance this week, particularly with Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson absent.

Each-way shout: Kevin Na –

Na has had a couple of weeks off since he finished second at the Genesis Open in California, and the American should follow that up with another good result at an event he typically plays well at.

The 34-year-old has placed inside the top 10 at Innisbrook on three occasions since 2009, including in 2014 when he finished just a shot behind winner John Senden.

The Copperhead Course’s small greens make it really important to scramble well at this event. That bodes well for Na, who ranks first in shots gained around the green on the PGA Tour this year.

The world No. 65 is well-placed for his first win since 2011, and is worth backing to at least be in contention late on.

Outside shot: Ollie Schniederjans –

Schniederjans is one of the most exciting players on the PGA Tour, and made a fine start to 2018 with a T7 at the Sony Open on in January and a T3 at the Phoenix Open last month.

The 24-year-old – who was once the world’s top amateur golfer – has missed the cut in both of his previous starts at the Valspar, but is now playing well enough to get a achieve a stellar result at a course that suits his game.

Currently ranking 12th in approach play on the PGA Tour and 13th in going for the green percentage, Schniederjans’ has the accuracy and length with his irons to hit the small putting surfaces of the Copperhead Course.

A Bermudagrass specialist, his putting should also give him a chance of winning the first event of his professional career.

Tiger watch

That Woods is just to win this weekend, even though he’s never played at this event before, shows just how promising his comeback has been so far.

The 14-time major winner showed real flashes of class when he finished 12th at the Honda Classic a fortnight ago.

Tiger should benefit from having last weekend off, and this course isn’t one that is really going to punish inaccuracy off the tee, which has been the 42-year-old’s biggest problem in 2018.

He’s a decent bet for a top-10 place at , but isn’t really worth backing to win at this price.
