Back to win: Patrick Reed –

Reed followed his win at the Masters by finishing seventh alongside playing partner Patrick Cantlay last week’s Zurich Classic last week, meaning the 27-year-old has now placed inside the top 10 in five successive events.

The American is one of the game’s most in-form players and should extend his impressive at a course he’s performed well at in the past.

Reed finished joint-second when last year’s PGA Championship was held at Quail Hollow, and his play around the greens – which ranks fourth on the PGA Tour – could prove key with so many bunkers surrounding the putting surfaces at this course.

With wins at Augusta, the Barclays and the WGC – Cadillac Championship, Reed has proven that he can triumph in strong fields, and he should relish going against players like Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas again this week.

Each-way shout: Ryan Moore –

Moore’s seventh-place finish at the Texas Open a fortnight ago was his third top-10 of 2018, and his record at Quail Hollow suggests he’s a great bet to add another at the very least.

The world No. 61 has finished 18th or better in four of his last six starts at the North Carolina course, including a T5 at the Wells Fargo in 2012 and a T6 a year later.

A strong putter on overseeded Bermudagrass greens, Moore also ranks seventh in driving accuracy this season, which is important as Quail Hollow’s fairways are statistically the hardest to hit on the PGA Tour.

The 35-year-old’s definitely worth backing each-way - particularly with Betway paying seven places - and has the pedigree to go all the way with five career wins to date.

Outside bet: Luke List –

It’s strange that List has missed the cut in his last two appearances at Quail Hollow, as this course really does suit his game.

The American finished 16th here as a rookie in 2013, though, and should better that result this week after picking up two top-threes in his last seven starts.

List is among the best drivers on the PGA Tour, ranking eighth in shots gained off the tee and sixth from tee to green.

He’s playing the best golf of his career – making nine out of 12 cuts in 2018 with eight top-30 finishes – and is worth a punt at a decent price.
