Back to win: Bryson DeChambeau

DeChambeau was the joint-leader after the first day at the Masters last week, but struggled on Friday and Saturday.

He eventually closed with a round of 70, including a hole in one on the 16th, so he’s carrying some momentum into the RBC Heritage.

DeChambeau has made three starts at Harbour Town and has twice gone close to winning, finishing T4 in 2016 and T3 last year.

The world No. 8 has been prolific in the past 10 months, winning five times since June of last year, and looks great value at a course he clearly enjoys.

Each-way shout: Jim Furyk

Furyk is the RBC Heritage’s all-time money leader having finished inside the top 10 on eight occasions, including wins in 2010 and 2015.

The 48-year-old looks poised to contend once again after having last weekend off as he failed to qualify for the Masters.

Furyk’s been in great form this year, making the cut in all seven of his starts in 2019 with three top-15 finishes, the best of which was a second place at the PLAYERS Championship in March.

The American ranks 14th in total shots gained on the PGA Tour in 2019 and first in driving accuracy, which bodes well for his chances at this tight, tee-lined venue.

Outside shot: Ryan Moore

Like Furyk, Moore is one of the straightest hitters on the PGA Tour, ranking seventh in driving accuracy this year.

The American finished T16 in his only start at this event last year, but looks a good bet to improve upon that result this time around.

Moore missed last week’s Masters, but finished third in his last start at the Valero Texas Open a fortnight ago.

The world No. 72 won the Wyndham Championship in 2009 at Sedgefield – another short track with narrow fairways – and he’s proved over the past five years that he’s a top performer on Pete Dye courses.
