Jack Green's golf tips for this week's FedEX Cup playoff event at Olympia Fields include a player to win, an each-way shout and an outsider.

Here's who Jack Green is picking in his golf tips for this week's FedEx Cup playoff event atOlympia Fields.

Back to win: Bryson DeChambeau 12/1

DeChambeau is one of the few players in the field this week to have previously played at Olympia Fields, having won the US Amateur at this venue back in 2015.

This is a long course that should suit the bombers perfectly, pushing the odds even further into DeChambeau’s favour given how he has dramatically improved his length off the tee.

The American ranks first in driving distance on the PGA Tour this season and has been in good form since the restart, with five top-10 finishes in eight starts, including a win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in July.

He missed the cut at The Northern Trust last week but looks poised to bounce back here.

Each-way shout: Scottie Scheffler 33/1

Scheffler is having an excellent year, having climbed to 37th in the world rankings in his first full season on the PGA Tour.

The 24-year-old is in great form, with four consecutive top-25 finishes including T4s in his last two starts at the PGA Championship and The Northern Trust.

Scheffler is proving he can mix it with the big boys and can contend once again this week at a track that suits his game.

The American ranks eighth in shots gained off the tee and 14th in driving distance, so he has the game to compete on Olympia Fields’ long, hard fairways.

Outside shot: Russell Henley 66/1

Henley is a good outside bet this week amid a strong run of form.

The American has made six cuts in his last seven starts and has finished inside the top 10 in his last two, including last week at TPC Boston.

Henley’s not a big hitter but makes up for that with his excellent iron play. He ranks third in shots gained on approach to the green, third in greens in regulation percentage and 14th from tee to green on the PGA Tour this season.

The 31-year-old has struggled with the putter over the years but has shown improvement in that area since the restart and can get into contention if he’s solid on the greens this week.
