Here's who Jack Green is picking in his golf tips for this week at Muirfield Village.

Back to win: Patrick Cantlay

Cantlay won the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village last year and looks poised to triumph at this venue once again.

The American also finished fourth at this venue in 2018, so it’s no surprise he’s currently the second favourite this week despite having just one PGA Tour win to his name.

Cantlay has become one of the most consistent players on the PGA Tour over the past year. He hasn’t missed a cut since March 2019. and has picked up six top-five finishes since then.

The world No. 8 finished T11 at the Travelers Championship in his only start since the PGA Tour resumed, and can build upon that result with another strong performance this week.

Each-way shout: Marc Leishman

Leishman hasn’t got going since play resumed in June, having missed the cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge before finishing T58 at the Travelers a fortnight ago.

The Australian should get back on track at Muirfield Village, however, where he has a strong record over the past five years.

Leishman has finished inside the top 15 in four of his last five starts at this venue, including fifth-place finishes in both 2015 and 2019.

The 36-year-old finished second in his last start before play was suspended so his best form isn’t far off, and his five career PGA Tour wins – including one in the 2017 FedEx Cup playoffs – prove he has the class to triumph in a strong field this week.

Outside shot: Kevin Streelman

Streelman came second at the Travelers Championship in his last start, finishing just a shot behind winner Dustin Johnson.

The 41-year-old now has two runner-up finishes in his last six starts, having also just fallen short at Pebble Beach back in February.

Streelman has been inconsistent over the past few weeks but can clearly contend when at his best, and this event looks a great opportunity for him to finish high on the leaderboard again.

The American has an excellent record at this venue, with four finishes of 18th or better in his last five starts, including a fourth place in 2019.
