Adam Scott –

Scott is poised to become the first Australian to win the Memorial Tournament since Greg Norman in 1995.

The 36-year-old has played sparingly in recent weeks, but managed a sixth-place finish at the Players in his last start.

That was his second top-10 in his last three events, and his fifth top-15 from eight outings in 2017.

Scott didn’t play at the Memorial in each of the past two years, but finished fourth in his last appearance in 2014 and 13th the year before that.

He also came fifth in 2007, and, given that he ranks 15th in shots gained this season despite playing so sporadically, has the ability to go all the way this weekend.

Matt Kuchar –

Kuchar has been one of the most consistent players on tour this season.

He has finished 12th or better in four of his last six starts, including a fourth at the Masters in April.

The 38-year-old last won on the PGA Tour in 2014, but should have some success this weekend at an event that he triumphed at in 2013.

Kuchar has a phenomenal record at Muirfield Village.

He’s played this tournament in nine of the last 10 years, placing inside the top 15 eight times and inside the top five on four occasions.

Considering his course history, he has to be backed.

Tony Finau –

Finau has only played at the Memorial on two occasions, but did well both times.

He placed 11th last year and eighth in 2015.

The American is also playing pretty well at the moment, having placed 13th at the Byron Nelson a fortnight ago and third at the Texas Open last month, which was his third top-five of the season.

Currently ranking fourth in shots gained off the tee, sixth from tee to green and 16th in total shots gained, he’s definitely worth backing at this price.

Webb Simpson –

Simpson is coming off a fine a performance at the Dean & Deluca last weekend in which he finished fifth, just two shots behind winner Kevin Kisner.

He led after 54 holes, but closed with a disappointing round of 71 as the four players above him shot 66 or better on Sunday.

Nevertheless, the 31-year-old’s form suggests he could go close again this weekend.

He has now finished 16th or better in three of his last four starts, and has played well at Muirfield Village in the past, coming 11th last year and seventh in 2011.

He’s worth backing for a top-five place at .

Ross Fisher –

Fisher has been in fantastic form in Europe in recent weeks, placing ninth, sixth and third in three of his last four starts.

The Englishman has also shown the ability to compete with top players on the PGA Tour.

He finished tied for third at the WGC Mexico in March and fifth at the Match Play a fortnight later.
