With £10,000 up for grabs on Friday, here are Chad Yeomans' best horse racing tips for Epsom to get you started.

14:35 EPSOM

Top Pick: Seniority | Second Choice: Hortzadar

William Haggas has his horses in fine form and I think it is worth siding with SENIORITY to get you off to a flying start on Oaks Day.

Owned by the Queen, who will be in attendance for The Derby on Saturday, this gelding has always been full of promise and I think this is the season where we’ll see him in the winner’s enclosure more often than not.

He had two runs in Meydan at the start of the year and hasn’t been seen since, but that may well have been on purpose with a crack at this race and Royal Ascot the two main targets.

Conditions look to be in his favour and the excellent Ryan Moore - who won on him twice last season, including in the Golden Mile at Goodwood - takes the ride.

15:45 EPSOM

Top Pick: Jazeel | Second Choice: Setting Sail

Favourites do not have the great record in this race, with only two winning in the past 10 years.

I expect that stat to hold up again this year with my selection JAZEEL, who only finished a neck behind the favourite Elector last time out at Newmarket.

JAZEEL is in receipt of a further pound from Elector and Epsom will suit this horse, who will surely fly home late under the in-form Jamie Spencer.

Recent Ascot fourth Setting Sail appeared not to stay 1m4f last time and this step back in trip will be much more convenient for the mount of James Doyle, who is a strong traveller in his races and may try and win from the front.

16:30 EPSOM

Top Pick: Manuela De Vega | Second Choice: Fleeting

My top pick for the Oaks is MANUELA DE VEGA, the Ralph Beckett-trained filly who was eye-caching in her seasonal reappearance in the Cheshire Oaks behind the current second favourite, Mehdaayih.

MANUELA DE VEGA travelled well at Chester, only to be short of running. Once in the clear, the mount of Harry Bentley stayed out well without being asked too many questions, which showed huge encouragement looking forward to this race.

Unbeaten in two races as a two-year-old, she can be Ralph Beckett’s second winner of this race following the victory of Talent in 2013.

My second choice Fleeting, who is a huge price and is the mount of last year’s winning jockey, Donnacha O’Brien.

As a two-year-old, she always looked as though she was going to improve and won the May Hill stakes over a mile. She did finish last in the Guineas on her only run this season, but may not have been fit in race, which might have been just too short.

This is her first try at this trip, but she’s well worth backing each way for a stable who often with this with their second or third string.

17:50 EPSOM

Top Pick: Ripp Orf | Second Choice: Alemaratalyoum

The final race on the card is a handicap over seven furlongs and I’m very sweet on the chances on my two selections RIPP ORF, whose trainer, David Elsworth, has a good record at Epsom in the past five years.

RIPP ORF’s hold-up running style will be well suited to Epsom and its long uphill finish and I expect him to be make his challenge as late as possible.

He was only beaten six-and-a-half lengths in this race last year, which wasn’t helped by a troubled passage.

The other horse worth mentioning is Alemaratalyoum, who on his latest form figures wouldn’t naturally draw anyone in. His two runs this season have been better than what the bare form suggests, though.

Trainer Stuart Williams has an excellent record at Epsom and I expect him to be fighting out the placing at the end of the race.
