With £10,000 up for grabs on Saturday, here are Chad Yeomans' best horse racing tips for Cheltenham to get you started.

13:55 CHELTENHAM

The opening leg of Saturday's 4 To Win is the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup and, following the accidental withdrawal of ante-post favourite Riders Onthe Storm, Betway are refunding all single win bets on him.

With his defection from the race, the Handicap Chase is now wide open and there are two I think it’ll pay to keep on your side.

Paul Nicholls has a phenomenal record in this race and it’s always wise to consider everything he runs. This year, he relies on SECRET INVESTOR  , who was a good second at Down Royal on his seasonal debut.

He was rather high up in the pecking order of novice chasers at Ditcheat last season, and his current handicap mark of 150 might not be his ceiling.

Further down the card, Tom George saddles Clondaw Castle  , who was considered good enough to be pitched into the Arkle last season.

He clearly needed to move up in trip that day but wasn’t totally out of the race and, on his seasonal reappearance, he was a staying-on second at Ascot in a competitive handicap chase - that would have put him spot on and he should go close in this.

14:30 CHELTENHAM

The Albert Bartlett Trial is a novice hurdle over a trip just shy of three miles. It’s a really competitive field that sees eight go to post.

While he may not be the stable's first string, I like REDFORD ROAD   for the Nigel Twiston-Davies yard. He was a good second at Ascot last time behind Valtor, who is much more experienced and out-battled him on the run in.

Redford Road caught my eye earlier this season when he beat Shan Blue of the Skelton team, showing he had pace and class that day. If this step up in trip suits, he could be a big player.

15:05 CHELTENHAM

The International Hurdle is the feature race on the card, and we see the return of last season’s Triumph Hurdle winner, PENTLAND HILLS .

I was the first to write him off last year but, under the master care of Nicky Henderson, he kept on improving and won two Grade 1’s within a month.

He’s obviously got plenty of class and should be tough to beat, granted normal improvement with another summer on his back.

I do think Colin Tizzard's horse Elixir De Nutz   could make him work very hard if he is match-fit on his first run since January, when he won the Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown Park.

He’s a gallant front runner with a good turn of foot, so I’m expecting this race to be a fast-run tactical affair.

15:40 CHELTENHAM

The final race of the day is the Mares’ Handicap Hurdle and there are three I can’t split.

DAME DE COMPAGNIE   ran very, very well in the Greatwood Hurdle on her seasonal debut when staying on up the hill to finish fourth after travelling well throughout.

She could well be clear of her rivals and may end up trouncing them, but something tells me that Queens Cave  , who has been highly-touted from the Pipe yard, and Mega Yeats  , who ran very well in the Stayers’ Handicap Hurdle at Haydock a few weeks ago, won’t be far away.
