With £10,000 up for grabs on Saturday, here are Chad Yeomans' best horse racing tips for Ascot and Haydock to get you started.

14:45 Ascot

The Cunard Handicap is the first leg and 17 runners go to post for the seven-furlong race. It’s worth noting that no favourite has ever won this, and all of the previous eight winners were all beaten last time out.

The punters have been backing Ripp Orf , who won this race last year off just a 1lb lower mark. He loves Ascot and always gives his true running there, often coming from off the pace and flying home.

This is much easier than the other big seven-furlong handicaps he’s contested here this season and it could be the perfect race for him to get off the mark.

Elsewhere, Another Batt  could be overlooked, but is well handicapped and ridden by in-form jockey Angus Villiers. Off his latest mark of 95, plus his rider's 7lb claim, he is one to watch and will be doing his best work at the end of the race.

Another horse to look out for is Sanaadh  for trainer Michael Wigham.

This horse would be further up the lists had he been trained by someone more 'fashionable'. He ran a great last time out when finishing fifth at Goodwood, which came after an excellent 3l defeat in the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket and a similar performance will see him go close.

15:35 Haydock

The Old Borough Cup promises to be one of the races of the day and if the forecast rain falls, it’s going to take some winning.

Corelli  heads the market for John Gosden and Frankie Dettori, but has a tough ask off top weight in soft ground and hasn’t won all season.

He has, at least, been put up 7lbs for his efforts.

Ian Williams looks to have trained Reshoun  for this all season after he won it last year. This will be the second time he’s had soft ground since his third in the November Handicap last season. Conditions look right for him to run a massive race.

Blakeney Point  has been supported since the market opened. He looks set for a big race following a good run last time at York when he looked all over the winner coming into the final two furlongs.

He didn't stay the two-mile trip that day and weakened accordingly. Back to 1m6f, he could be well handicapped off his current mark of 98.

15:55 Ascot

Leg three is the Lavazza Stakes over a 1m3f with a very open field.

Cirque Royal  hasn’t been seen since March when winning a Lingfield novice race by 7 lengths, but clearly has talent. He’s since been gelded and this could be the start of winter campaign for the Charlie Appleby trained gelding.

William Haggas won this race in 2015 and saddles the well supported Faylaq  , the mount of Dane O’Neill. He’s been given a slight break following his second at Ascot behind Floating Artist in July, but has been on an incline this season. Can he get back to winnings ways?

16:10 Haydock

The final leg is the feature race of the day, the Sprint Cup. With only one defector at the final declarations stage, this had shaped up to be one of the races of the season.

But with recent news of Advertise and Ten Sovereigns not running, it has blunted the field.

Dream of Dreams  should be closely followed on his early season form. He won two races in the spring and followed those with a fantastic second at Royal Ascot when he flew up behind Blue Point.

He ran in the July Cup last time out, which was a very strange race and never really got in it. Haydock will suit him much better and he’ll go close.

Hello Youmzain  and The Tin Man  should be given a shout too as on their best form, they’d both have outstanding chances.
