The Gold Cup is the feature race and I'm a huge fan of COUNT MERIBEL  .

He ran exceptionally on his seasonal debut at Carlisle behind Lostintranslation, and escapes a penalty as that was a conditions race.

He has previous course form at Cheltenham and his trainer, Nigel Twiston-Davies, has a great record in this contest.

15:00 CHELTENHAM

The Big Bucks Handicap Hurdle is also going to take some getting and I’m quite sweet on GOLAN FORTUNE  , who has the further help of Sam Lee’s 7lb claim.

He has good form over hurdles and his latest run at Cheltenham would have put him spot-on for this.

15:30 CHELTENHAM

David Pipe has held REMASTERED in high regard for quite some time, and he hasn't been devoid of promise in his few starts over hurdles.

On occasions, including last time out, he has been far too keen and has tired himself out.

He'll love this soft ground, though, which will naturally slow him down in the early stages, and he could have too much class for his rivals here.

16:00 CHELTENHAM

The bumper is the closing race on the card and it's hard not to side with MIDNIGHT CALLISTO following her impressive debut success at Fontwell.

Anthony Honeyball is very good in this sphere and has always rated this mare highly.
