We start things off with some Grade 1 action in the Manifesto Chase where I think LA BAGUE AU ROI  will extend her unbeaten run over fences.

She's a perfect four from four so far, including Grade 1 triumphs in the Flogas Novice Chase at Leopardstown and also the Kauto Star, where she finished ahead of Topofthegame and Santini, who went on to be the top two in the RSA Chase at Cheltenham.

Her jumping is magnificent and the fact she has a mares' allowance on the rest of the field means I just cannot see her getting beat.

I tipped BAND OF OUTLAWS  in the Fred Winter, and I'm keen on his chances again here.

He's won his last three in impressive style for Joseph O'Brien and JJ Slevin, and looks to be improving each time.

However, this is our promo race where you have money back as a free bet up to £10 if your horse loses, so if you want a slightly bigger price then I'd go with Fakir D'Oudairies  .

Finishing fourth in the Supreme reads as good form in this field and he should relish the soft conditions, so he seems to be where the main danger lies.

The Betway Bowl is up next and I'm swaying towards KEMBOY  in this competitive field.

He's impressed this season, particularly in the Savills Chase where he eased to victory by over seven lengths ahead of a field featuring Road To Respect, Monalee and Bellshill.

It was disappointing to see him unseat David Mullins at the first fence in the Gold Cup, but at least that means he should be fresh and ready to go here.

It would be a shock to see Buveur D'Air beaten here but, at his price, I can't touch him.

Instead, I'm going to take a big each-way chance with Evan Williams' SILVER STREAK  .

He's had good form this season with a tidy win in the Welsh Champion Hurdle, a runner-up spot in the International Hurdle and a third in the Champion Hurdle a few weeks back as an 80/1 shot.

Adam Wedge has a great record on board (112-23), so I'm hoping he can get at least another place here.

I backed ROAD TO ROME  when he ran a big race at Cheltenham and I'm going to keep faith here.

He was having a tremendous season having won his first four, but just couldn't stay in front and ended up finishing fourth at the Festival.

However, I think he will be more suited to conditions here and Sam Waley-Cohen has an excellent record at Aintree.

Jockey Alex Edwards won the Foxhunters on Hazel Hill and I think his mount on BEAR'S AFFAIR  could be a nice each-way chance.

The 13-year-old veteran was brilliant in this race when runner-up 12 months ago but we haven't seen him since Cheltenham last May.

That being said, he has course form, is proven over this distance and is fresh for the race so this is a tempting each-way punt.

I have two each-way fancies for the Red Rum Handicap, the first of which is Paul Nicholls' BRELAN D'AS  .

He's put in some impressive performances in big handicaps at Cheltenham this year, including a third in the Grand Annual at the Festival and a fifth in a Grade 3 in January where he finished behind Siruh Du Lac and Janika.

Nicely handicapped at 10-9, he should go well.

The other one I like is MOVIE LEGEND  .

He's a nine-year-old that has enjoyed solid form since October (1223-211) and didn't let me down when I tipped him last time out at Doncaster, finishing strongly ahead of Theo and Cracking Find.

He's proven over this distance, is nicely handicapped at 10-4 and has back-to-back Grand National winning jockey Leighton Aspell in the saddle.

We finish with the Mares' Bumper now and Harry Fry's MISTY WHISKY  looks the form pick to me.

A huge win last time out over Silver Forever at Sandown looks like very strong form and, having won easily at Ludlow at the end of the year, she looks the one to beat.

Neil King's FARNE  finished well to claim third at Sandown that day and wasn't too far behind Olly Murphy's A Perfect Gift on New Year's Eve, so I think she could also have an each-way chance.

WIN DOUBLE
