Royal Jet SP is set for his first career start (14:00 Ascot).  He was a Breeze-Up horse but isn’t your typical Breeze-Up type. He’s going to develop into a lovely horse next year and I think he’ll improve no end for this racecourse experience.

Australian Angel 16/1 has been consistent this year and has really been thriving with her racing and her work. She’s had a very busy year and it’s at this part of the campaign where it can catch up with horses, but you don’t know until you get on to the track. She seems in great form at home and must have a good chance (14:20 Haydock).

Tactical 12/1 has had a frustrating campaign, but he does love the straight course at Ascot, and these would look to be his optimum conditions (15:10 Ascot). We’re hoping the addition of a tongue strap will help him slightly and we’re delighted to have Ryan Moore on board. If the draw is in his favour, he could have a great chance.

Chil Chil 28/1 wasn’t suited by Pontefract last time, so I’m happy to put a line through that. She ran well at Newbury on her first start this season and wasn’t totally disgraced in the Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood. She was third in this race last year and I think she’s in equally good form as she was 12 months ago, so she could run another big race (15:30 Haydock).
