Sunday runners

Nasim  should go well. He was sixth in a good race at Sandown on his debut and has been going nicely since (Windsor, 13:30).

Arctic Vega has been running well without winning. He’ll pop and win one of these races soon, but he just hasn’t seemed to be able to do it so far this season (Haydock, 18:15).

Saturday Ascot runners

Stone Of Destiny wouldn’t want too much rain to fall in Berkshire. He’s in good form, has won this race before and ran well at Goodwood last week (12:50).

Cleonte  got too far back at the flag start at Goodwood last week but, prior to that, had shown that he may have been coming into form. He’s seven now and isn’t getting any younger, but he should have a chance in this (13:25).

Group One Power  ran well over course and distance earlier in the year, but I feel this could just be at the top of his stamina limitations. He’s been in good form this season and, if he does stay, he’s got a good chance (14:00).

Star Caliber  has been pretty solid this year. He’s as fit as a fiddle and stays well, too. He won’t mind the drop back in trip and should go well (15:10).

Saturday Newmarket runners

Under Oath  is a filly that we like at home. We’ve got some nice fillies this year and this one goes well. As ever, you never know what to expect on their first run, but I do think she could go well (14:15).

Majestic Glory is stepping up in class having run well at Newbury last time out. She’s a well-bred Frankel filly and the big aim will be to get her some black type. Finishing in the first three would be a great result (14:50).

Other Saturday runners

Foxes Tales ran very well with a big weight on his back in a good, competitive handicap at Newmarket last time out. I’ve been happy with him since and he deserves this step up into pattern class.

Saeed Bin Suroor’s horse [Real World] looks very good, but we’ll give it our best shot (Haydock, 16:10).

Winterwatch is still fairly treated, I think. He won nicely at Catterick last time and, with everything in his favour, I think he should go very close (Lingfield, 17:05).

Spirit Level ran OK last time when he finished third. He’s still getting the hang of things, but I hope he’d run well with Josh Bryan on his back (Lingfield, 18:35).
