Andrew Balding: Something Enticing is in good form at home
The Betway ambassador previews his three runners at Doncaster and Chelmsford on Saturday.
Diamond Dreamer ran like he didn’t get home at Newbury last time, so we’re dropping half a furlong in distance (12:20 Doncaster). He ran well for a long way, though, and we’re also trying a cross noseband on him. If that helps him settle, he could run into the placings.
Something Enticing is well drawn which will make life easier (13:30 Doncaster). She was second in this race last year when she was trained by David Elsworth, so we know she likes the track. Her last run was good, although she was put up 5lb for finishing second. She’s in good form at home and likes soft ground.
Torre Del Oro was meant to run at Nottingham on Wednesday, but it got abandoned, so we’ve rerouted here (16:00 Chelmsford). If he takes to the surface and comes forward from his last run, he’ll have a good chance of being competitive.
