The Betway ambassador previews his runners on the first day of the Doncaster St Leger Festival, as well as three at Kempton.

Doncaster

Stone Of Destiny SP (13:50) is very able and is very well-handicapped now. He hasn’t broken on terms as good as he could do in the past, but if he does here, he could be very competitive on a track he has won at before.

Bounce The Blues SP (15:35) is hopefully going to get her ground at long last. She loves to get her toe in. She ran well last time and was a good third in this race a couple of years ago. If the rain falls, she should be a player as she seems in great form at home.

Bell Rock SP (17:20) is another who is in great form. The step up in trip might be the tonic he needs now, especially as his falling mark would also make him look competitive. He might not just want the same amount of rain as Bounce The Blues, though.

Kempton

Sisyphus Strength SP (18:00) is a lovely filly who is having her first day at school. She’s ready to roll now but I think we’ll see the best of her over middle distances next season

Wilderness Girl SP (19:00) has been a little unlucky this year. She’s had a couple of bad draws and things haven’t dropped right for her, but this does look like a good opportunity for her to find some form,

Noble Run SP (20:30) has been disappointing up to this point. He’s shaping up like a real stayer but on what he’s shown so far, he’d have to step up quite a bit to be winning this.
