13:10 Newbury

Lieber Power is a lovely horse from a lovely family. Cracksman has done very well as a sire so far. We like this horse at home, but this is his first day at school and there are horses in this race with experience, which is often telling. He is one to watch in the future, though.

Therapist ran well at Lingfield. It was her first run and perhaps she wasn’t totally suited by the track. She’s in good form, though, and should be competitive.

14:15 Newbury

Chil Chil ran very well in the Sprint Cup. She’s a high-class filly who is effective over five or six furlongs. She’s in good nick at home and could be competitive in this grade.

15:25 Newbury

Groundbreaker has got an unhelpful draw, which makes life difficult. The conditions will suit him, so if he can overcome the draw, he could give a good account of himself. He’s one I’m looking forward to next year.

15:40 Ayr

Fivethousandtoone runs in the Ayr Gold Cup. He won well last time and the drying ground in Scotland will help. The cheekpieces have helped him in his last three starts and even though he’s up 5lb for his win at Goodwood, he’s still well handicapped. These big sprint handicaps are so tough to win, but he’s going there in good form.

16:00 Newbury

Silvretta is having her first run. She’s got ability and will improve for the experience.

16:35 Newbury

Love Mystery has been disappointing. He travelled well at Salisbury last time but didn’t see the race out. We’re applying a hood and dropping back in trip, so hopefully that could see him run well.

17:25 Wolverhampton

Pavise ran well at Salisbury. This is half a furlong further and that should suit him. He’s learning and improving all the time.

19:00 Wolverhampton

Kerkyra Island has been disappointing really. She’s better than she’s shown and hopefully handicaps could be the making of her.

20:00 Wolverhampton

Senorita travelled strongly for a long way at Newmarket last time and will be suited by a turning track.
