The Betway ambassador previews his runners on Saturday, with six entries at Haydock, Ascot and Lingfield.

We’re going to need plenty of the forecast rain to fall if we’re to have all of our declarations run on Saturday.

Haydock

City Streak SP (13:20) ran with a bit of promise at Wolverhampton, where the track didn’t really suit him. He’ll be much more at home on a galloping track and should go well.

Bounce The Blues SP (15:35) is in good form at home. She’s another who really likes to get her toe in. The favourite is going to be very tough to beat, but it’s a good place to start her season.

Ascot

Something Enticing 14/1 (14:20) is on her second start for us but does need some rain to fall if she is to take her chance. If it does, she could go well.

Auria 7/1 (15:30) is a good horse, who was a listed winner last year. She missed her intended return but can give a good account of herself under William Carver.

Oo De Lally 22/1 (16:05) runs in the Victoria Cup. He is another that needs rain, and we’ll have to look at how much falls before we let him run. He went very well at Haydock on his comeback and has come on for that, so he should have a live chance.

Lingfield

Speak 10/1 (15:15) is declared in the Oaks Trial, but she would also need rain. She needs genuine good ground or softer.

She’s a talented horse, so we wouldn’t want to risk her. If she has her conditions, she should be fighting for a place.
