We’ve got another fantastic team of horses for this season.

We had a very good set of two-year-olds last season that have developed nicely into this year’s strong team of three-year-olds. We’ve got yard favourites, maidens in waiting and some unknown – but hopefully very promising – two-year-olds, too.

It’s a great time of year for all of us at Park House Stables. Here are the two-year-olds.

Berkshire Cruz looks smart at home. He has had a small setback, so we might not be able to get him out until the end of June, but he is fast, and we’re excited by him.

Constitution is a colt we like a lot. He’s got a really good attitude and we think he’ll stay 7f no problem. He’s likely to make his debut in May over 6f and we’ll go from there.

Holguin had been showing up well at home before his debut success. It is so difficult to know what they’ll do first time out, but he won well and is likely to go back to Newbury for a 6f conditions race next time. If he runs well, he’ll be part of the Royal Ascot team.

Bakeel is a big, strong colt who might run at Ascot this week. While he’s got ability, he’s been a bit of a slow learner, so I want to get him out on a stiff 5f to give him valuable experience, and then I think he’ll go on as he goes up in trip.

Dabbous is going to want 6f but has been showing up very well at home.

Frequent Flyer is more of a mid-season two-year-old. We got him at Goffs and were all delighted. He’s a fine specimen and a good mover, too.

Glenfinnan is a lovely horse by Harry Angel. He has a slight niggle with a splint, so we’ve backed off him, but he could be very nice. He’ll be one for a 7f maiden from July onwards.

Sydney Mews also looks very nice. He does everything very naturally and has impressed us all so far.
