We’re taking a team of four to Newmarket on Thursday, three of which are unraced two-year-olds, so it will be a learning curve.

13:50 Newmarket

Tactical  is a lovely Toronado colt and he goes in the Novice Stakes. In any normal year, he’d have already been out by now, as he’s rather precocious.

We don’t often have too many forward two-year-olds, but he’s been pleasing us in his work and you just hope that it’s not too challenging for a horse mentally when they have their first outing.

He’s owned by Her Majesty The Queen, so it would be nice if he was able to put himself in the mix for Royal Ascot.

14:25 Newmarket

This Betway-sponsored Maiden Stakes has split into two and we’ve got one in each division.

Bright Devil  goes in the first and, whatever he does here, he’ll come on for the experience. He’s still a little raw but he’s shown us enough at home to think that he’s ready for his first outing.

15:00 Newmarket

We run Imperial Force  in the second division and this Camacho colt is bred to be a two-year-old.

He’s looked nice at home and has shown plenty of early speed but, as with any unraced horse, it’s a step into the unknown. We’re hopeful that he’ll run well.

18:30 Newmarket

Inclyne  runs in the 1m2f Handicap. She has won over further and will go back up in trip this season, but we wanted to get her out and get a run into her.

She’ll come on for the run, but we’re hopeful that she’ll hold her own on her first start this year.
