Our recent Classic Trial winner Berlin Tango  runs in the Hampton Court Stakes (13:50) and, although he came out of that race well, the 4lb penalty is a slight concern.

He improved through the winter, so I wasn’t overly surprised with his victory at Kempton. It’s a decent race but I do think a lot of our horse, so we’re hopeful rather than confident.

We run two in the King George V Stakes (14:25).

Berkshire Savvy  gets in right at the bottom and carries no weight at all. He shaped OK on his recent start at Haydock but, on all known form, he will need to improve and come forward on what he’s shown so far – but it’s not impossible.

We also run Group One Power , who I must say was slightly disappointing at Yarmouth recently. I expected him to go close that day and I’m hopeful he just didn’t appreciate the rattling quick ground he encountered. He’s been well since and I think the extra two furlongs will suit him.

Make no mistake, the Prince of Wales’s Stakes (15:00) is a very tough race but, on his day, Bangkok  is a high-class horse.  He was super impressive in the Betway Winter Derby Trial and, on that form, it’s not a forlorn hope that he could finish in the money.

Again, we’ve got two in the Royal Hunt Cup (15:35) and as ever, you’re going to need plenty of luck in running.

Fox Premier  could run well under Silvestre De Sousa. He was gelded over the winter and it’s helped him massively. He’s changed his shape and looks more compact now. It is a tough race to be starting off in, though.

Bell Rock  was a good winner at Newmarket less than two weeks ago and that was his first run for a long time. There’s always a worry about the bounce actor when they run so close after a long lay-off.

Saying that, he seems well in himself and, if he runs similar to the way he did at Newmarket, he could be right in the mix.

We run Tactical  for Her Majesty The Queen in the Windsor Castle Stakes (16:10). He was a little green first time out when he finished third at Newmarket but was working well before that run, so we were expecting him to run a bit better.

He’s been doing well since, and on the ability he has shown us, he’s got a very good each-way chance.

We’ve another two in the Copper Horse Handicap (16:40).

Shailene  wouldn’t want too much rain but she’s a big filly and that prep run at Haydock would have put her spot-on for this.

Ranch Hand , on the other hand, would appreciate any juice in the ground. We’ve all been pretty happy with him so far. His fitness levels are good, and we think he’ll keep progressing this season.
