14:30 Queen Mary Stakes

The Queen Mary is such a difficult race to work out. I’ve been impressed with a few of these so it’ll be a watching brief. Get your trackers out as there will no doubt be some horses to take out of it.

15:05 Kensington Palace Fillies' Handicap

I’m going to suggest one at a biggish price in the Kensington Palace. VILLANOVA QUEEN   would’ve finished an awful lot closer last time had she got the gaps, but they just didn’t come. She was only narrowly behind Yerwanthere and she’s over twice the price for this race so, to me, she’s a bit of a value.

15:40 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes

The price has collapsed over the past 10 days, but I thought after she ran at the Curragh that JUMBLY   could win at Royal Ascot. She ran really well behind Just Beautiful, who was really well fancied on the day. She looks very solid and seems a filly with plenty more to come.

16:20 Prince Of Wales's Stakes

To me, tactics are going to be key in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes. With a small field and drawn well, I think LUXEMBOURG   will be able to have his way from the front. He’s the one I’d side with under Ryan Moore, but there isn’t a lot between them all.

I’d say Adayar is a better horse over 1m4f though.

17:00 Royal Hunt Cup

DUNUM   is really consistent, he’s not been out of the first two in his last seven starts. He’s been climbing up the handicap and it seems justified on his runs, but you just don’t know if he’ll have anything in hand in such a competitive race. He’s drawn in stall 11, so Wayne Lordan will have options and the test of the Royal Hunt Cup should suit him. He’s tough and hardy.

17:35 Queen's Vase

I think PEKING OPERA   is a very fair price here. I liked what I saw from him at Navan. Aidan O’Brien could have no doubt had a handful of runners for this, so to have Peking Opera as his only runner here could be telling. I think he had more up his sleeve than the winning margin suggests last time and could still be improving.

18:10 Windsor Castle Stakes

The Windsor Castle is another tough puzzle to solve. With the fact he’s won at Ascot already, I’m edging towards MAXIMUM IMPACT   for Alice Haynes. He’s drawn well in the middle which will give Kevin Stott plenty of options, too.
