15:40 Ascot – Posted (each-way)

The Duke Of Cambridge is going to be tough to win as the hot favourite Lady Bowthorpe brings the best form into the book, especially with her second in the Locking To Palace Pier last time.

That was, however, on rain-softened ground and she has had two tough races this season. At her likely short price an each-way alternative is favoured.

At the time of writing, Posted is the biggest priced horse in the race but on ratings, there only a couple ahead of her. She loves fast ground and improved to another level this season. With her good comeback run under her belt, she could run into a place.

17:35 Ascot – Ruthin (win)

Wesley Ward has a great record with his two-year-old fillies at Royal Ascot and, although he’s only won this race once before, he could be adding another Windsor Castle to his name with Ruthin who is ridden by Frankie Dettori.

She was explosive on her debut at Keeneland where despite being very green, she was the best of a three-runner race and won by six lengths over 5f. She could be too fast and too forward for our two-year-olds at this stage.

4 To Win selections

14:30 Ascot – Eve Lodge

Improved on her good debut to win easily at Lingfield. She’s fast and will like this quick ground too.

15:05 Ascot – Kemari

Bolted up at Yarmouth last time after an eye-catching debut at Newmarket.

17:00 Ascot – Grove Ferry

Two from three this season. Will love the conditions and well-drawn in stall 30.

18:10 Ascot – Dreamloper

Course winner who will appreciate these quicker conditions, after a good second on soft ground last time.
