With £25,000 up for grabs on day 3 at Ascot, here are Chad Yeomans' best horse racing tips.

Despite being a Listed race, the Wolferton Handicap looks like a Group 2 contest with the quality of runners it has attracted.

Betway ambassador Andrew Balding saddles Fox Tal 11/4, who is very lightly raced but obviously very talented.

He bolted up at Doncaster on his delayed comeback run last season, then followed that up with a superb fourth behind Magical on Champions Day at Ascot in October.

That line of form is enough to see him be successful in this race, but he does have to repeat on his first run of the season.

14:25

The Jersey Stakes looks a really hot race on paper, and it’ll be good to see the return of the promising Molatham 4/1 for Roger Varian and the in-form Jim Crowley.

He was successful twice as a two-year-old and always looked as though he'd improve with age and racing. His victory in the Flying Scotsman at Doncaster has really worked out and if he comes into this race in that form, he’ll give his backers a good run for their money.

The French raider Celestin 6/1 brings the best form to the table from this season, so he’ll be hard to ignore if you’re looking for proven form.

15:00

The Chesham Stakes is a race for two-year-olds over 7f.

Battleground 3/1 was a huge eye-catcher on his debut where he finished fifth at Naas, and is bred to be very smart from a yard that has won this race three times in the last 10 years.

Bright Devil 4/1 was very impressive on his debut where he went from the front at Newmarket and never got caught.

The step up in trip to this extra furlong looks to suit and, if he goes from the front, he could be very tough to pass.

16:10

Hughie Morrison won the Britannia Stakes in 2011 with Sagramor and he’ll be hoping he can do so again with Starcat 8/1, who looks to have a really good chance.

Despite being ridden prominently he ran very well and stuck to his task in the 2000 Guineas, showing himself to be a horse with plenty of ability.

This race is a lot easier and his connections will be confident of a big run going into Thursday.

Recent Haydock winner Finest Sound 5/1 looked to have really come of age in that success 10 days ago, where he absolutely bolted up.

He’s got the benefit of a recent run and, if he comes here in the same from, he’ll surely go very close.
