With £25,000 up for grabs on day 4 at Ascot, here are Chad Yeomans' best horse racing tips.

14:25 

The Norfolk Stakes on soft ground is going to be a real test of hardiness for these inexperienced two-year-olds.

I was taken by Imperial Force   on his debut run at Newmarket, and I think the form of that race will end up looking smart.

The seventh, eighth and last-placed horses from that race have been out and finished second, first and fourth in respective order, so it’s shaping up nicely for Andrew Balding and James Doyle, who have already tasted two-year-old success here this week.

The Commonwealth Cup is going to be one of the best races of the week, with the unbeaten and unexposed Pierre Lapin  making his seasonal return.

He looked electric in two starts last season and can justify his connections' faith in him.

I’m also looking forward to seeing how Royal Lytham  gets on, dropped back in trip to 6f.

He ran okay in the Irish 2000 Guineas a week ago and was still travelling well, but didn’t seem to stay the 1m trip. He has plenty of ability and could run very well at a big price.

The step up to 1m6f on soft ground will be right up Punctuation’s  street, and I’m happy to put a line through his recent comeback run.

First of all, it was over a trip that was always going to be short of his ideal. It was also on rattling quick ground, so I’m discounting that run.

The plus side from that race is that it would have given him a nice pipe-opener for Ascot, and it would be great to see Her Majesty The Queen have a second winner of the week for Betway Ambassador Andrew Balding.

Hughie Morrison has won the Duke of Edinburgh twice in the past 10 years, so it’s no surprise to see him with a runner here.

Le Don De Vie is a horse with lots of talent - he was a good winner of a small-field handicap at Goodwood last August, and has other good form in the book. His connections have booked Ryan Moore for the ride.

One other horse to keep on the right side of is Indianapolis for trainer James Given.

This horse was once with Aidan O’Brien and did have plenty of useful form to his name. He was twice successful for his new connections last year, including on heavy ground at Leicester, and he had a nice spin at Newmarket recently, which would have put him spot on for this.
