The Queen Mary is a Group 2 for fillies run over 5f.

It's proved very helpful to be drawn high on the straight course this week, and the Aidan O’Brien-trained favourite, More Beautiful  , is handily berthed in stall 18.

She looked very forward on her debut and her rider gave her plenty of education, knowing that her next stop would be Royal Ascot. It helps when a horse has seen the whip and been ridden out strongly, as it doesn’t come as a surprise when it happens next.

She’s beautifully bred and, if she handles the cut in the ground, she will be very tough to beat.

So Wonderful  is still a maiden after nine career starts but has been placed in four Group races including two Group 1 contests.

Her latest third place was behind stablemate Peaceful in the Irish 1000 Guineas, and she just got caught for second place in the final strides.

Despite not winning a race before, she does have some of the best form in the book in this field and can break her duck on the biggest stage of all under Ryan Moore.

The Diamond Jubilee has shaped up to be one of the best races of the week.

Hello Youmzain  brings soft ground Group 1 form and that is always tough to beat. He improved no end last season and earned his seat at the table in the top 6f races.

Further down the betting, Shine So Bright  could be a surprise package if the ground isn’t too soft.

He’s got real natural ability and goes very well fresh. His trainer Andrew Balding has been very complimentary of him in his blog this weekend and could go well at a price.

The Wokingham Stakes is a real cavalry charge over the straight 6f at Ascot. Again, you’ll be wanting to seek horses who are drawn high.

Roger Varian has had his horses in sparkling form this week and Spanish City  could add to his tally.

He’s a consistent and battle-hardened sprinter who often goes well at Ascot. He is also drawn in stall 19.

Further down, No Nonsense  brings some very smart juvenile form to the table and, if he handles the softer conditions on his first start of the season, could run a huge race for David Elsworth.
