With £50,000 up for grabs on day two of Cheltenham Festival, here are Chad Yeomans' best horse racing tips to get you started.

14:50 CORAL CUP HANDICAP HURDLE

The Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle is always an absolute cavalry charge and, with a maximum field of 25 runners going to post, you can expect plenty of hustle and bustle.

Willie Mullins has declared seven runners and the one I like is having his first run for that yard.

Canardier  finished fifth in this race last year when staying on up the hill in the closing stages, and it’s not rocket science to see that he’s been campaigned for this race again. He’s had two runs over the large obstacles in order to protect his mark and I can see him going very close.

Honest Vic  is another I think will run a huge race. He’s two from three this season, is steadily improving and has been kept for this race. He’ll be partnered by Richard Johnson and sneaks in towards the bottom of the weights.

15:30 BETWAY QUEEN MOTHER CHAMPION CHASE

The Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase is undoubtedly going to be the race of the whole week.

After much studying, I think Defi Du Seuil  will come out on top. He’s won twice at the Cheltenham Festival, including last year in the JLT over 2m4f, and has been better than ever this season when winning three from three. He should have that edge over his rivals here.

Dynamite Dollars   is a big price and may run on for a place on the back of a great run at Newbury last time.

16:50 BOODLES HANDICAP HURDLE

The Boodles Hurdle is a juvenile race and, in a field of 22, there are two that I quite like the look of.

Zoffee  will need to improve his jumping if he’s going to be competitive, but he absolutely sluiced up at Doncaster last time and his trainer has been very bullish about his improvement since. He was a useful performer on the Flat and, if he does improve his jumping, can go close under Richard Johnson.

Nick Williams’ yard won this race in 2017 with Flying Tiger and I think Galahad Quest  will also go very close in this year’s renewal.

He has steadily improved with each run and went off as favourite to beat Triumph Hurdle hope Allmankind on his debut at Warwick earlier in the season.  He won a Grade 2 at Cheltenham in January and, with Sam Twiston-Davies on board, I expect him to outrun his price.

17:30 CHAMPION BUMPER

The final race on day two is the Champion Bumper, a flat race run over 2m.

Appreciate It   is going to take some beating as he’s by far the best and most talented bumper performer that I’ve seen this season. Willie Mullins targets a horse for this race every year and has won it no less than nine times.

The Glancing Queen  is a very useful mare who is having her first run of the season here, but she can run into a place if she reproduces the best of her form from last year.
