The opening leg of Friday's 4 To Win is a wide-open one mile handicap for three year olds, with SOCIETY LION the favourite for trainer John Gosden and jockey Ryan Moore.
He won a competitive novice event at Yarmouth at the back end of last season, with the form of that race being franked since.
He won on heavy ground that day and ran a fine fifth on good ground at Newmarket on his only start before that.
Into Faith is another one to keep an eye on. He’ll give a good account of himself on his seasonal reappearance.
His trainer David Menuisier has his team in good form and this Intello colt looked a horse to follow in three starts last season.
He backed up a good debut run with a fine effort at Sandown when he was doing his best work late on behind Palace Pier.
He finished his first season with a victory in a £128,000 conditions race at Longchamp. He’s clearly got lots of natural ability and I’m sure we’ll see him at his best this season.

This seven-furlong handicap is for four year olds and there are plenty in this race with lots to prove.
BLUE MIST was a very impressive winner of an Ascot handicap in October 2018, but hasn’t won since. He did run well on a couple of occasions last term.
A return to form off his latest mark of 95 (his last winning mark was 90) could see him go close under Jason Watson.
Bear Force One ran at Newmarket last weekend and on the face of it, he was disappointing. But he dwelt coming out of the stalls and was playing catch-up from there on.
His rider James Doyle – who takes the ride again here – was not hard on him as it was clear that it was a front-runners track. If he gets out the gates better, I’m sure he’ll run a big race.

Ralph Beckett has his team is red-hot form and he’s seen plenty of success this week.
He runs two in this 1m4f handicap with his stable jockey Harry Bentley taking preference on Nette Rousse , although she appears to have a disliking to rain-softened ground. Her only two poor runs last year came on soft and heavy ground.
Beckett’s other runner FUTURE INVESTMENT looks better suited to enjoying cut in the ground and the four-year-old gelding managed to win two races last term. The word soft appeared in the ground description in both of those victories.
He didn’t stay 1m6f on his final start at York in a much tougher race than this, but travelled well for a long way. This drop back in trip to 1m4f won’t be any inconvenience to him.
Rossa Ryan takes the ride and he is in great form, having won two races for Beckett at Haydock on Monday.

The last leg of 4 To Win is a1m2f handicap for horses rated 0-95.
MOLL DAVIS is going to be a popular selection after a good fourth on her come back run at Newcastle. She was repeatedly suffering traffic issues and would have been a lot closer given a clear run.
She will be very tough to beat if she returns in the same form.
Alan King has got his horses in fine shape and has trained three winners since the restart already.
He saddles Aweedram here, who runs off a mark of 86 - just two pounds higher than his last winning mark.
William Buick is booked for the ride, who is riding Aweedram for the first time since the horses last victory at Ascot in May last year.
