14.25 GOODWOOD

TOP PICK: THREEANDFOURPENCE

Second choice: Threading

Here we have a mile-long Group 3 event for three-year-olds.

In 4 To Win terms, we're starting off at the easier end of the racing spectrum, though it does get tougher.

Aidan O’Brien’s THREEANDFOURPENCE had a nice livener at Naas last week when winning at odds-on.

This is obviously far harder, but he has been primed to run a big race.

15.00 GOODWOOD

TOP PICK: ESCOBAR

Second choice: Seniority

The Queen’s horse, Seniority, was seeking a hat-trick in the Royal Hunt Cup after two wins on the all-weather at Chelmsford.

He’s had a nice break of 44 days and may be back in winning condition.

But I prefer the chances of market rival ESCOBAR.

His second place at Sandown last time out is a decent bit of form and he can get his head in front for the David O’Meara stable.

17.15 GOODWOOD

TOP PICK: EPAULEMENT

Second choice: Groveman

This is a tough-looking three-year-old handicap over a distance just shy of a mile and a half.

EPAULEMENT was a beaten favourite at Haydock last time, but hasn’t been out of the front two in his last four runs.

This consistent type can claim his second win of the season here.

18.50 GALWAY

TOP PICK: SONG OF NAMIBIA

Second choice: Remarkable Lady

The valuable Guinness Handicap at the Galway meeting is the final race in Friday’s 4 To Win.

Ger Lyons SONG OF NAMIBIA hasn’t won for just over  a year, but has pieces of form that make him a value call for this contest.

Young jockey Sean Davis also rides the track well.
