15.40

TOP PICK: KESSAAR

These aren't the classiest two-year-olds we’ve seen this week, but there's certainly a few speedy types that will cover this 5f distance in just under a minute.

KESSAAR may have won at York had he not been hampered late on during his debut.

His price doesn’t really make sense given he was so close to winning, since if he had done it would be about a quarter of what it will be when he lines up.

For that, reason he is the value call.

16.20

TOP PICK: LIBRISA BREEZE

This is another race that won’t take long, as some high-class sprinters power down the centre of the Berkshire track.

LIBRISA BREEZE is a course-and-distance winner and has some blisteringly quick times within his form.

Some might say he handles soft ground better, but he was an unlucky loser in this race last year and will be primed to run well by his shrewd connections.

16.20 Ascot: Librisa Breeze

17.00

TOP PICK: AL QAHWA

David O’Meara hasn’t had the best of seasons, but can land a Royal Ascot winner with AL QAHWA.

A beaten favourite last time out, he can improve on his two runs this season to run a big race here.

He’s no stranger to winning at a big price, as he landed a valuable York handicap just over a year ago at 25/1.

17.00 Ascot: Al Qahwa

17.35

TOP PICK: THOMAS HOBSON

The longest flat race of the season, this trip of nearly three miles will take a lot of stamina.

Past winners are usually at the upper age limit for Flat horses, although some National Hunt stables also target the race.

Half of the winners this last decade were from stables better known for their jumping exploits.

THOMAS HOBSON was second in this last year, but can go one better at the age of eight.
