Here are Alan Alger's top tips to get you started...

TOP PICK: KEW GARDENS
This race features horses at the age of three that are mostly being tried at the longest trip of their careers so far, which makes the Queen’s Vase a tricky contest to weigh up.
Pedigrees need a second check as we look for a bit of stamina in their lines.
Favourite KEW GARDENS was well beaten in the Derby, but that can maybe be put down to Epsom’s undulations.
He looks to have a good chance here, based on the way he has stayed on at the end of some of his better performances.

TOP PICK: LINCOLN ROCKS
Hydrangea’s form at this distance reads one win from seven races, with her six defeats at a mile including a Group 2 last time out at the Curragh, so she is a readily opposable favourite.
LINCOLN ROCKS didn’t enjoy Epsom in her last race, but two of her seven career wins have been over a mile on good to firm going.
She’s definitely worth taking a chance with here.

TOP PICK: BLESS HIM
BLESS HIM won over course and distance in the Brittania at this meeting last year, and has the same conditions as he aims to win this slightly higher-rated handicap.
It’s a very competitive race but, for the purposes of the competition, he is taken to follow up.
17.35
TOP PICK: EMARAATY
EMARAATY was just touched off at Goodwood last time out.
He had decent form prior to that, winning races at Newcastle and Newbury.
He is the pick in a very competitive race where chances can be given to over 80 per cent of the field.
WEDNESDAY'S TIPS
14.30
All eyes will be on Wesley Ward’s runner Chelsea Cloisters in the Queen Mary as she aims to give the US trainer a fourth victory in this race in 10 years.
Ward’s record is good, but not completely bomb-proof, as we saw with odds-on favourite Happy Like A Fool’s defeat in this race 12 months ago.
There’s not nearly as much hype around his entry this year, and she is opposable after a long journey.
For that reason, I’m going to suggest KURIOUS from the Henry Candy stable as an each-way alternative.
She was an impressive winner at Sandown on her debut and could shock those at the head of the market.

We are paying a huge seven places in the Royal Hunt Cup, and I’m going to go for an each-way bet on BLESS HIM .
He won at Royal Ascot last year, while jockey Oisin Murphy also picked up a couple of big-priced places on Tuesday’s card at the meeting.
