14.00 EPSOM

TOP PICK: GEORGE

Second choice: Book Of Dreams

There’s only been one winning favourite of this Class 2 Handicap in the last decade, during which time we’ve seen winners return at 25/1 (twice), 16/1 and 10/1.

As these are three-year-old horses in a handicap, the ratings might not quite correctly reflect the ability of each horse.

A few of the horses towards the bottom of the handicap around the featherweight mark of 8st take the eye.

The Sylvester Kirk stable has won this race in three of the last nine years and his entry GEORGE could be the answer to this tricky puzzle.

With Holly Doyle on board, he ticks a lot of the boxes.

14.35 EPSOM

TOP PICK: WILAMINA

Second choice: Shenanigans

Any one of four fillies and mares in this line up could start as favourite in a wide-open market.

Dance Diva gets some handy weight allowances and should go well for trainer Richard Fahey, who won race one on the Friday of this meeting.

Lincoln Rocks has good form in the book, but is likely to find one or two of the younger horses a little better than her bare form.

I’m going for Frankie Dettori’s mount WILAMINA.

She was second on seasonal reappearance at Newmarket and, significantly, drops back a little in trip. That could suit and she’s taken to land this.

14.35 Epsom: Wilamina

15.45 EPSOM

TOP PICK: HARRY HURRICANE

Second choice: Dark Shot

The Dash has seen its fair share of shocks down the years with an average winning SP of just over 17/1 in the last decade.

It’s the fastest race on the calendar as 20 horses charge down Epsom’s straight track, mostly downhill.

There aren’t many clues regarding the draw, although the stands side was favoured on Oaks day, with horses tacking over as they took the bend.

There’s no bend to take here so horses drawn in the high numbers will already have the favoured ground right in front of them.

HARRY HURRICANE looks a likely type to relish the conditions and is drawn in the highest stall of all.

He was well beaten in this race two years ago, but had stall one that afternoon. He can make amends with more experience under his belt.

15.45 Epsom: Harry Hurricane

17.15 EPSOM

TOP PICK: RESHOUN

Second choice: Melting Dew

This is a Class 2 handicap over the Derby trip.

RESHOUN had a nice return to the track at Newmarket recently and looks well-handicapped based on his form at three, where he won two races and was placed in a few other respectable contests.

In-form William Buick takes the ride for the stable of Ian Williams, who have had six winners in the last two weeks.

17.15 Epsom: Reshoun
