Harry Fry - one of the brightest training talents in the UK - has signed a deal to become a brand ambassador for Betway for the 2017/2018 National Hunt Season.

Dorset-based Fry has trained more than 225 winners to date, including in 15 graded events, and is currently preparing Unowhatimeanharry for a tilt at the Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury.

Fry will provide regular blogs for the Betway Insider, giving his exclusive thoughts on his stables’ chances and the biggest events, as well as daily blogs during the Cheltenham and Grand National Festivals.

He will also promote his blog via social media and appear at Betway-sponsored race days.

"I can’t wait to get started with Betway and look forward to giving all their customers my honest views about my chances as well as my opinions on the topics that matter," said Fry, who joins champion jockey Richard Johnson as a Betway horse racing ambassador.

"We have a number of talented horses to work with this season and the whole Fry team is hoping it will be a campaign to remember as we chase those big Graded races."

Betway's Alan Alger said: "Harry Fry has earned himself a reputation as one of the best National Hunt trainers around and we are delighted to be working alongside him for the new season.

"He has some hugely exciting prospects in his yard, including Unowhatimeanharry and American, and we’ll be sure to give our readers the inside track throughout the season."
