Our in-house expert crunches the numbers to give you the best possible chance of winning £10,000 in our free-to-play prediction game.
4 To Win is Betway's free-to-play prediction game running throughout the Cheltenham Festival.
Simply guess the winner from four chosen races for your chance to win £10,000, with the jackpot rolling over every day the prize goes unclaimed.
Here are Alan Alger's top tips to get you started...
14.50 – CORAL CUP
TOP PICK: RED INDIAN
With no winning favourite in the last decade and an average winning SP of 16/1, this handicap hurdle is an absolute minefield for punters.
Horses of ages between five and eight have won the last 10 renewals.
The honours are even between Great Britain and Ireland in terms of where the last few winners have come from, though Ireland have won the last two.
RED INDIAN has been knocking on the door all season in half-decent races and will definitely relish the ground at a course where he has won well.
Honourable mention: William Henry
15.30 – BETWAY QUEEN MOTHER CHAMPION CHASE
TOP PICK: DOUVAN
Altior has ticks in all the right boxes, but we need to swerve Nicky Henderson’s stable star in order to broaden our chance of landing the 4 To Win pot.
DOUVAN is a definite contender for the race and may just give the favourite something to think about.
Honourable mention: Min
16.50 – FRED WINTER JUVENILE HANDICAP HURDLE
TOP PICK: TURNING GOLD
Another tough handicap hurdle in which to find the winner, with only a solitary winning favourite over the last decade and an incredible average winning SP of 22/1 during that period.
British trainers have the upper hand, while weights under 11st 5lb are desirable.
Nigel Twiston-Davies knows how to win races at the Festival and I really like the look of his TURNING GOLD in this contest.
He is a mudlark and will go really close under Tom Bellamy.
Honourable mention: Eragon De Chanay
17.30 – CHAMPION BUMPER
TOP PICK: ACEY MILAN
There’s always a whisper for something in this unique flat Festival race, which is known for having an Irish plot somewhere in the lead up to post time with something being smashed to near favouritism.
The roll call of winners over the last decade is a real mix of ages, nationalities and prices.
There is a horse I’ve liked all season in the line-up, though, in ACEY MILAN.
He looks absolutely made for this race and his form is outstanding. I’m very confident.
Honourable mention: Carefully Selected
