It’s all to play for on Gold Cup day after a disappointing Thursday at Prestbury Park.

I'm going to spread my tenner across five horses: four at big prices with £1 each-way on each of them and a £2 win in the Gold Cup.

In the Triumph (13.30) I like the claims of MR ADJUDICATOR , who has won well in his two hurdles races so far.

The County Hurdle (14.10) will be tough, as always, but CHESTERFIELD looks a cracking each-way bet at the prices.

I’ve tipped up KILBRICKEN STORM elsewhere and want to be with Colin Tizzard’s seven-year-old in the Albert Bartlett (14.50).

I also think CRUCIAL ROLE has been well overpriced in this staying novices’ contest.

In the Gold Cup (15.30), I know that Richard Johnson is very keen on the chances of NATIVE RIVER , who has conditions to follow suit.

He's won top-class races before and can land the big prize here. My last £2's going on him to win.

THE TIPSTER: TOM SUTTON

The 50p each-way patent worked well for me on Thursday so I’ll try and repeat the trick with another.

First up is IVANOVICH GORBATOV in the 14.10, whose experience in these big handicap fields could help him rediscover the sort of form that saw him win the Triumph Hurdle here in 2016.

In the 16.50, MR BIG SHOT is a perfect record over hurdles with three emphatic victories.

The ground should suit him perfectly and he’s a big price to remain unbeaten.

The final pick is Kerry Lee’s in-form GINO TRAIL .

He’s a course-and-distance winner who has hit form at just the right time, winning three of his last four, and I’d be surprised if he does not at least place here.

I’ll stick the remaining £3 on a win double.

REDICIAN has been a revelation over hurdles, winning three from three, and looks set to upset the well-fancied Apple’s Shakira in the 13.30.

Finally, I fancy Richard Johnson to win a second Gold Cup on NATIVE RIVER in the 15.30.

He’s been perfectly campaigned for this race and, if he travels anything like he did last year, he’ll go close.

THE PUNTER: TOM CLEE

We've got it all to do but I'm feeling lucky.

First up we're putting £4 on SANTINI to win the Albert Bartlett (14.50).

He is unbeaten in both points and novice hurdles and was very impressive last time out at Cheltenham when beating Black Op, who came a gallant second to Samcro on Wednesday.

The Nicky Henderson horse is a smart prospect who will relish this stiffer test.

Next up, we're backing DEFINITLY RED to be in the mix in the Gold Cup (15.30).

The ground and distance should be no problem, so this seems a big price for a horse who has a real each-way chance in a wide-open contest.

Such is my faith, I'm putting my remaining £2 on an each-way double on the pair of them. It's all or nothing.
